Shooting kids is never easy, but Ezra was able to capture the essence of my then-3-1/2 year old son in a beautiful way. I wanted to surprise my wife with photos for Mother’s Day. Ezra and I chatted on the phone and agreed to meet at a park. My son was not in a very cooperative mood initially, but Ezra was able to put him at ease – shooting him when Ben was playing with trains, or playing on the game structure or running around with the ball.

Ezra’s composition and technique are different, at least from what I’ve seen – but I loved the photos that were against the sun, yet the subject – my son, was in full light and contrast. It was cool how it washed out the background with light. The photos of us running around on the field with a ball were very dynamic – long shadows, the ball inches away from the ground – just gorgeous.

Ezra also did a fantastic post-processing job. Ben had a bit of a runny nose – as as much as I tried to wipe it, some of it got into the photos. But not on the final pictures – Ezra photoshopped it clean – the final pictures are *perfect*.

5 Stars – I’ll definitely work with Ezra in the future – probably next Mother’s Day.  :)
